FOXE'S BOOK OF MARTYRS. An 18th Century edition of The Lives of the Martyr's by John Fox. Title page probably missing but a photographic reproduction has been inserted. Preface pages are present by M Madan so this edition is probably 1776. Contents generally good, plates present (approx 50) although edges of some of the plates have damage. Half calf binding with cloth to the boards - some damage to spine but the covers are attached.
